Clinical Focus:

As a neuropathologist at Emory University Hospital and Grady Memorial Hospital, I focus on neoplastic and non-neoplastic diseases of the central nervous system. I am particularly engaged in utilizing genomic information in the diagnosis and characterization of CNS neoplasia. My goal in using genomics in my practice is to aid in improving therapy for patients with brain tumors by providing more accurate diagnoses as well as information that opens up treatment options. As a general surgical pathologist at Grady Memorial Hospital, I diagnose diseases from all parts of the body. I function as a member of a large and dedicated team of healthcare professionals at this hospital that is pivotal for the health of the greater Atlanta area.
