Clinical Focus:

Director, Division of Animal Resources (DAR) - the administrative unit of the medical school responsible for all programs of animal care within the School of Medicine (SOM). In 2006, the DAR team of 75 employees was responsible for providing legally compliant and comprehensive veterinary and husbandry programs for a population of approximately 55,000 vertebrate animals used in the AAALAC International accredited research and teaching missions of the university.
