Dermatopathology Fellowship

Description:
This 1-year fellowship offered jointly by the Departments of Pathology and Dermatology is directed by Dr. Alvin R. Solomon and meets all requirements for the board examination in dermatopathology jointly administered by the American Boards of Pathology and Dermatology. Fellows with pathology training receive six months of dermatopathology training and complete six months of rotations in the dermatology clinics at The Emory Clinic, Grady Memorial Hospital, and the Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Fellows with dermatology training spend six months in surgical pathology at Emory Hospital and six months in dermatopathology. Fellows participate in numerous teaching conferences in both departments. An optional second year for ongoing research may be available.

USMLE Step 3; Georgia Licensure; Completed AP/CP or AP
